Everyday Immortality (3)

Atoms are composed of subatomic particles moving at lightning speeds through huge empty spaces.

I have been mulling over this statement for days now, ever since I first read it a little more than 3 days ago. The true meaning of these words somehow still evades me. I have yet to lurch onto that elusive state of epiphany when one finally discerns the truth from the ethereal mendacities and sieve the facts from the interminable verity.

Be that as it may, the notion of this narrative anecdote has its own share of shrewd contrive and incisive intrigue.

In my case, I am talking about people. The ones that are always there, the ones that are sometimes around, the ones that are sporadically appearing and disappearing in your life and the ones that you only come across once in your life by some upshot of providential fate.

Whatever the case, these casts of your own life where you are the main character, are the ones who will ultimately sing the songs of your existence's vivid chronicles. They are one of the foremost factors in life - defining who you really are.

It almost seemed as if it was like inserting the pertinent dowel of verve into the axle of triumphant brooding, and then steering the wheel cart of apposite fulfillment along the boulevard of renewed restitute.

The subsistence of this is that whoever we meet or keep along the way, we have to be wary. More often than not, every one has their own clandestine memo. It is up to us how we choose to filter the words uttered and exchanged that will consequently envelop us in the protective shield of probity.

I had to learn it the inconvenient and discomfited way. It is the nature of our environment that accelerates the prospect of social networking, camaraderie and mutual amity, that sometimes we forget to listen to our heart and be brave enough to walk away from pretentious and conceited individuals.

The epiphany engulfed me at last...the subatomic particles personify the individuals whom we come into contact with in our lives. They are all then typified by the atoms when they become an assemblage. Finally, the movement at lightning speeds epitomize the condition in which friendships are made, no matter how superficial or meaningful it is, in an environment of fervent fraudulence that can only be embodied by the huge empty space within us all...

Ree: The title is from a book where I'm getting all these quotes from. Deepak Chopra is the author. I will give a brief explanation in my next post, I think a few ppl has been asking me about it too :) Thanks for your thoughts, I will remember not to compromise my values by being a hypocrit but to a certain extent, we all are one in different ways. What's with the *ahem* for a great week ahead? Haha!

Am: Nice...art of war, I like. Haha! I also like to think sometimes that you should keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and your benefactors closest!

well, im gonna take a shot in the dark at tis entry..since u promised a free vacation if i got it right...lolz..

i think it epitomize the fact of life that we as human are personification of streets which are bound to converge at some points..friends and acquaintances that we made embody the convergence...

thus it is only apt for us to have mental judgements about our friends because they're also evaluating us as a person, whether consciously or sub-consciously..

at the end of the day, it is down to this subliminal calculation that we tend to judge a person as a friend or a foe.

to be frank, i have no idea how much is true about my hindsight but as i said, i am only attempting a shot in the dark. LOL.

anyway, this is one hell of an entry. good job.

Daniel: See below :)

Ryan: Hey, I appreciate you actually spending some time on this challenge of ours, haha! I like your POV of humans as personification of streets. To be honest, what you said are all true...but that's not really what I was trying to say in my entry. But I seriously like your analogy :)

It's actually about ppl I meet along the way who are hypocrits or pretentious fools. They try to sidetrack you with their lies, and I get even more upset if it's people dear to me whom they are targeting. It's about me wanting to brave it up and stand up against people like this and not be a hypocrit myself by being friends with them at the same time hate them.

So I guess the result is you don't get your free vacation, but I'll give you a free meal or buy you a few drinks (alcohol) when next we meet, k? Haha!

I know where to look now should i need my daily dose of inspirational mumbo jumbo hahha! buddy, don't look at life so seriously. Look at it with a pinch of salt and smile more lolol!! anyway, keep up with your posts. it is good......

weihan: Finally...now i get what u mean! haha..

Well, thanks in advance for the drinks. I guess we just cant say NO to free alcohol, can we? LOL

Now that I've comprehend your entry, it got me thinking instead. It struck a chord with me because I have came across too many hypocrites in my life, particularly a recent friend that I knew.

What makes it even funnier was that he even have the audacity to call another friend of us a 'LIAR' or 'CANNON'. Such a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black. Yet after all these, we're still friends.

Your article made me think twice, or thrice even, about the state of hypocrisy that we're all bound to experience at some points in our lives. That is one of the reasons why I am being much less judgmental towards people these day.

Thanks for letting me blabbing here. Haha. Cheers!

BeDLamSort: Haih, doesn't mean I write these sort of things means I am a serious person, c'mon you know me better than that ;) I can keep it up with my posts, the question is can you keep up with it? Haha!

Ryan: First, Amen to free alcohol! Hoorah! Now to your struck chord of comprehension: is this friend of yours my friend too? Hahaha "tuah pau", lol! Ok, you're right...we're all hypocrits to a certain extent. For me, what I can do for myself is control my friendliness with these ppl. It's for me to know, so that I can sleep better at the end of each day. And I like it that you consider yourself less judgmental than before. I always tell myself nowadays to NOT judge anyone at all, no matter how annoying, bad or despicable some of these ppl can be. There is a reason. We just don't know. And if we have not the heart to find out, we have not the right to judge. Please blabber more often here, and give me some opportunity to return the favour at yours. When is the next update? Haha!

once again u got me stumped by your ever insightful entries...haih! but i like wat u wrote cos it makes me think about what kind of person am i.

i think i am quite a hypocrit and very scheming but. i know it's not a strong excuse to say i have to because or else i will lose out to ppl but it is what it is in my case.

but you are right that that we have to be brave to walk away from these kinda ppl when we see the wrong in it and i think doing that makes me less a hypocrit. like u said, to a certain extent we all are one in different ways.

nice reflection there, really got me thinking lor :)

wow! so many long comments. you really struck a chord with everyone there, huh?

BeDLamSort said...

of course i can keep up...you challenging me ah? haha!

Kelly: I think this entry will either pick on your nerves or make you feel grateful, kinda like how Zhang Yimou makes his film, doesn't it? Haha! Well, don't be too hard on yourself. Life is too short to be judgemental, even on yourself. Live high and live mighty but most importantly live righteously, k? I am confident in time everyone including you will be brave enough to denounce people like these in your life.

LiNG: If only I can serenade my readers using a guitar, haha!

BeDLamSort: Yes, I am! Bring it then! Haha!
